Default blooms and more buds?

I bought this orchids a month ago or maybe 2. It was not doing well. I repotted it and now the roots are looking good and it seems to be happy. last night I moved it and saw something weird. New Buds!

The plant has been in bloom for a few months now and no blooms have dropped yet it is sending out new buds. I have never seen this before. What does it mean?

It's good

Don't worry about it, if the plant was struggling and is now happier it could be because of that, or it's just one of those things.

I had a few of mine do that this year, I wonder if weather conditions triggered it to grow more and because there was an existing spike it grew them there... don't know really except that mine have done it both this year and in the past and I'm always just happy to see extra blooms

A lot of my phals do this for me when I bring them home. I think that the plants are kept in sub-par conditions at the stores, then when they come into a place where they can thrive, they do! Any favorable change, such as a lower temperature or higher light, could stimulate the plant to put out new buds.

Basically, you're doin' it right, whatever it is you're doin'!

Thanks guys I thought it was weird and maybe a sign it was stressed. I am very happy how this plant has turned out . I was worried about it when I first got it.

This window I have it in is the magic window. I can get any phal to spike here.

Very nice. I hope they bloomed.
