Default the winters spikes are starting to flower

I counted today that I have 10 phals. 9 of them are spiking from over the winter. Some have budded up nicely and other are being slow.
Dtps Rong Guan Mary.

dont think Dtps exist any longer they are all phals). this is 2 plants mother and baby. both bloomed out 2 spikes. I had just removed the baby last winter. It was basal and when I repotted it came apart. Was ready.

Phal Be Glad

Phal Surf Song

had 50 flowers last year and heh I got 10 this time!!. So next year I should get a flush. Taking a break.

Phal Pink Lady

this one is stingy with the flowers. Had 2 last year and 4 this year. I dunno. They dont look to bad just not alot of them.

hope your flowers are glowing and growing!!!

and coming soon the never ending spiking encyclia!! counted over 80 buds on 2 spikes.

felt good get off the cycle and play with some flowers!!!

thanks you all Phals are fun when you dont kill em

The Enc. ramonensis 'Dr. Pepper' X self is the plant and a bag baby from Sun Bulb co, (Lowes/Home Depot). Doesnt really smell like dr pepper' to me.

notice how the bulbs arent buried? why some kill them is they plant them too deep when they repot. The bulbs HAVE to stay above the media if not they rot.

Ill make another post for the encyclias as I have quite a few spikes popping up on others too..
