Phals, 3rd year blooms Male
Thumbs up Phals, 3rd year blooms

These Phals had no tags on them when I bought them over 3 years ago I believe at Sam's Club. I think they were the "water with ice cubes" orchids, yeah right.

The whiter one has many flowers and is gorgeous this year, its roots are incredible and many.

The lavender one I am not too happy about. I left the old spike on last year after it through two spikes with lots of flowers. One spike dried up the other didn't so I kept it on the orchid. Well, that's the only thing that bloomed this year, the old spike, and as you can see not many flowers. I don't think I will leave spikes on the phals again this year when they are done flowering.

I love Phals and want more as they do so well here. I just love the way the flowers last from jan-april and always look perfect!

you shouldn't keep fruits close to your orchids ! The maturation of the fruit produce ethylene and that will cause your flower to wilt
