sorry to hear about that but more info would be nice!

how do the leaves look? how do the visible roots look? are any other orchids or other plants you have looking bad? how are you watering, and how much light does it get? what about humidity?

this may just be totally normal--flowers only last so long, and 3 months is pretty good, actually!

As long as your leaves are not falling off, you are OK. Scott's right on it - the flowers only last soo long. I have had plants drop flowers due to stress (no roots, poor watering regime, etc), but that does not sound like your situation.

Sometimes Phals/Doritps will branch off an old flower spike in future flowerings, so I leave a flowerless stem until it dies naturally and cut it once it is dried.

If all is well your plant will sprout a new leaf from the center of the plant and there will be active root growth during that time.

At this time of growth it would be good to ensure regular watering and include some fertilizer (formula depending on potting media). Everyone has a different schedule for this, I fertilize Weakly-Weekly and flush with plain water every 4th watering.

leaves are green, roots seem ok,only one orchid,i wanted to see if i could grow ok,my wife waters twice a month, light is apx. 1 hour (sunlight) in the morning, artificial for about 5 hours with a small fan,all plants on pourch get this light, humidity is from the water evaporation from fish tanks at 80 degrees.
