Default My rescued £1 phal has finally shown its colours :o)

As the title says, my rescued phal from my local garden centre for £1 has finally opened two flowers
It was a bit sorry for itself when I got it. I instantly re-potted, sorted the roots out & cut the dead spikes off.

It has since then shot out a new leaf, its growing new roots & it spiked.
I was taking bets with my other half as to what colour it was going to be.....

Guess the flower colour?????......

And finally they open.......

The petals have a hint of pink on the back of them

It looks so happy, look at that big branched spike and all those thick healthy leaves! Best £1 you could've spent

I'm finding the color and shape very pleasing. Great little cheap/rescue orchid!

L1sav, I am curious if you've found that any condition in particular promotes multiple spikes growing off of the main spike? Mine do not do that when they flower.
