Phalaenopsis equestris x Renanthera monachica
The flowers are just about 2 cm., so it is easy to miss all the details unless they are seen under a magnifying glass or in a picture

When i bought it, it was potted in bark and i just grew it alongside my Pahls. the first two years.
Last year i "repotted" it in a vandabasket with a few pieces of Epiweb and i think it seems to grow a bit better in this condition along side all my young/small vandas.

I have Googled to see if i could find a picture of this cross and only found one.
The flowers on that one was more pink and had stripes, not nearly as nice as mine is |

Its a very interesting combination. I like the colors and form. I have both parents and I didn't know they can be crossed.

I think crosses like this one is exiting, and the best part is that it is impossible to know exactly how the result is going to turn out.
