Hmmm... I grow under a CFL (just one shaped like a normal light bulb) in my guest bathroom. Lol
So... The sun won't be getting to it. Maybe it's bc it's too cool in my home. Not cold, but not warm most of the time. Around 70°F?
There is "happy sap" behind the blooms tho... Does that mean anything?

For my orchids that have a fragrance, I think the warmth of the sun is what brings the scent out. So that could be why you don't smell anything.

Sounds like your plant is happy to me. I don't know much about it, but the name certainly implies a happy plant.
