Default NOID Fragrant Red

This is a completely new kind of phal to my phal collection, which consists mostly of the standard large, not so large, then miniatures.

I like very thick and shiny flowers that are sweetly scented. The leaves are very light green, big and round, also glossy, not sure if they spayed it for extra touch, but overall, I like the plant a lot.
wish I knew the name.

Only the first flowers on both spikes are solid color and the rest show tons of little dot at a closer look.

The store guy told me to look up on the google. what a moron! a very rude store, but they always have something nice.

Love it, that red is fantastic! And in my book, fragrance triples the value of a bloom!

I looked up red phal section on the phalaenopsis book, but there were many that looked so similar.
By the way, some of the same ones at the store did not have any scent, so I guess mine is special.

It smells all day and all night non stop, although it is stronger in the middle of the day.

Almost all of these so called red phals are actually red purple and the one that's truly red without purple hue has some yellow stripes (or red stripes on yellow background).
I think one of the Chingruey phals (which I suspect mine is also) called Chingruey's Blood Red Sun is the closeat to red, and I've got to find it!

The first one or two flowers on each spike are pretty even in color, but the colors on the new blossoms are quite different. tiny deep rose spotting all over on cream is what it looks like.

reminds me of bacteria on petri dish. lol

just thought I would post some more pictures of this. I really like the color of these flowers shone through the light.

There was one bud on one of the spikes and it turned brown. hmmmm
The rest are still looking nice and giving me lots of fragrance all day and night!
