Default Phal. Grosbeak 'Sweet Fragrant'

I've been waiting for months for this one to open up. It smells SO good. I wish I could post a file with the scent so you could see (smell?) what I mean. It has another established spike that is also in bud and has a brand new spike that is branching - and one of the branches is in bud. Can't wait for them to all open up. By the way, the spike in the pic above isn't coming out of the center of the crown - it tried to come out the side, split the leaf and then turned up. It's coming out below an to the side of the crown.

It seems my violacea is taking forever now that it is at the budding stage. It's been almost 3 months!

Yours is beautiful!

Other than a foreign vendor coming to a show, you'd have to wait several years for an amateur breeder to remake this cross. (that may it may not be me, as I really want to remake some classic phal hybrids in the future)
Medelia and lepetitmartien like this.
