Great clone from Norman's that I picked up about a year ago. It likes its spot under the lights, and has thrown 8 blooms on 1 spike, with another that has shown buds yet. Really starting to appreciate all the great Kuntrarti Rarashati crosses. Fragrant + multi-floral, what more do you need. Also just in time for my birthday... Proof that you know orchids dont hate you entirely

Holy Snap, Crackle, and Pop! That is fabulous! Now what I want to see out there is some breeding with these multifloral Tying Shins with some awesome quality bellina or coerulea violacea!

Funny you should say that... Notice some missing pollen caps? I didn't have bellina in bloom, but I do have a hieroglyphica, KR, and violacea in bloom. I think the best is the violacea, but I'm still working out the breeding kinks, so I went pollen happy.

I'll take some of the KR and violacea sometime when I get some time, probably by Monday as we're going out of town. But, the Hiero, I think you've seen before, and I've posted it here and on BLO.
However, with your bellina comment, I'm thinking I may have to send out a new wish list and see if I can pull one in for my birthday as well. Could be interesting.

Oh, yeah. I have seen the hiero. You just need to try this on everything you have! I actually also have a Tying Shin cross, so I wish that would bloom, as I have some stored pollen I would like to use on it.

My only complaint about the cross is the KR didn't bring the size of Sogo Lawrence down any. The main leaves are much bigger than I'd like on a multi-floral, but it's totally worth it. That's why I was thinking of a back cross to KR, to hopefully continue to shrink the plant, while keeping the fragrant multi-floral aspect

Yeah, mine is (Tying Shin Cupid x Super Stupid), and the plant has a leaf span of about 16". Hey, look at you, you are already starting to think like a professional hybridizer!
