Smile Phal violacea (Tequila Sunset x Tequila Sunset)

I'd just thought I would jump on the bangwagon and show off my Phal violacea (Tequila Sunset x Tequila Sunset) from Hausermann!
What a heavenly fragrance of rose, citrus and spice.

Thanks Ross
I am very happy with it.
It is scenting stronger now than it had when it first bloomed a week ago.
And that second spike continues to grow strong

Just out of curiosity, that looks like maybe a 4" pot? This is a small 'chid right?

Yes - It is in a 4 inch pot.
The petal span is a little over 2 inches.
The leaves can get large but more wide than long as in hybrids.
The spikes seem to be compact.
It is a species phal cross so it isn't as big as many hybrids get.

It came in bud so .. the credit goes to Hausermann
I just hope I can provide it with what it needs to continue to grow as well as it has up to this point!

Tess --- OMG !
You are going to L-O-V-E it!!!
I adore this orchid - it's color, form and the olfactory buzz I get from it!

Sorry, I just had to rub it in

Excellent looking bloom, would have lost the bet on this Tequila being a gold in color...without the worm

Love those aromatic bloomer's, such a wonderful "high" when you walk in your home and you know just where this aroma is coming from...great buy Dorothy
