Default Phal. Ming-Hsing Yellow Boy.....

This is a compact growing plant with a fairly large flower and eye catching colors.

Beautiful colors and patterns. Does she have a fragrance? I wonder what the lineage is, as well.

Ah...Brother Sarah Gold is the pod parent to Sogo David, the pollen parent to your blooms here. Brother Sarah Gold is also the pod parent to Sogo Lawrence.

I expected this one to be fragrant but it's not. I don't know the lineage. There seem to be a lot of compact phals around with this look but this one has brighter colors than most of them.

It may yet. I have found that some of phals will not bring about their fragrance until the bloom is fully mature-- as if its the last thing they do when blooming.

My Phal Ember is like this-- a week goes by before one morning you smell a mouth-watering scent coming from the solarium only to find out its the plant finally emitting its fragrance.
