Some say epiphytic orchids are parasite, for living on trees.. However, I say that orchids are parasites for luring us humans to take them into our homes to feed and care for them. Much more care than they would get in the wild....

Hello,
Here are my two noids that are currently flowering.
They usually grow in just clear plastic pots, but whoever flowers - gets promoted to the nice display pot and gets to seat somewhere where it can be appreciated.

This purple NOID belongs to my mom. She has three in the same large planter so when it blooms...it BLOOMS!

I can't be sure from the colurs in this picture, but have a look at Phal. brother pico sweetheart. see if that is not your orchid.

Love this thread! NOID phals get such a bad rap, and I'm guilty of it too. Glad to see NOIDs getting some love.

Here are a couple of my favorite NOIDs. I think the yellow one is Phal Sogo Manager. And the second one, I have only guesses as to what is in it. It's pretty small, the spike is about 6 inches tall with the blooms being about 1.25 inch across.
