I won this on Sunday at our society's raffle. I've wanted one that either was or looked like Baldan's Kaleidoscope and now I have it
The tag had Rocket Farms in California on it so I e-mailed them and asked if it had a name. They said it was Sogo Kaleidoscope, but I checked in OrchidWiz and RHS and that isn't a registered name. So it is still a NOID really.

Congratulations Silken, wonderful looking.

The name Sogo Kaleidoscope may be one they've not yet registered. I've noticed some of the sogo names are registered and not all.

An old thread I'm reviving, but here's one of my NoID's in bloom at the moment. This has a total of 19 flowers/buds on several branches of the spike. About 7 open just now. I couldn't fit all the branches/buds in the picture though

Here's another one. It took hubby and I ages to try and get the colour accurate, but it still depends exactly how your screen shows it because it looks different on different screens here. It's a rich, shiny, intense purple.

This second picture is how the colour came out in one of our attempts to get it right. Not accurate at all but I LOVE the colour in this pic. Looking for suggestions of Phals with that sort of colour. I'm told H.P. Norton has some in those sorts of rich reds.
