Junebug- they get watered once a week, in the summer twice a week if needed.

Thanks, Rob. It looks like you've thrown in a little sponge rock too. Most of my phals have been switched to mounts, but there are 3 still growing in pots. The potted ones have been fussy growers no matter what medium I've used. Lava and sponge rock looks like a promising alternative because there's excellent drainage and nothing to decay. Thanks again.
