Default Phal hybrid flower size

I have observed that my phal hybrid has different flower size on the same spike. The flowers that was blooming while i bought it was noticably bigger than the flower that bloom after i bought it. Is this normal?

Does growing condition effect flower size even after the spiking? Or its the grower adding fertilizer or hormone to increase flower size?

Yes, culture can affect size as well as color and flower count as well.

Perfect culture. Good light, good water, and good nutrients.

I just realize that the plant is also growing roots quite extensively while flowering. Is this one of the cause of the smaller flowers? Should I feed it?

I also keep my plant on the dryer side as I am concerned about the cool temperature and humidity of my house will cause fungus to grow. Couls the smaller flower size be the result of dryer growing environment?

It was some Spam which has since been removed.

If you see things like this don't quote them or comment about them, just click either the Red/Yellow card icon at the top of their message, or the warning triangle icon on their message.

Both of these options will send a message to the moderators and one of us will come and delete it (I think Sue got this one earlier).

I have removed the links from your quote of the Spam, otherwise the spammers still have the links here on the forum which we don't want to happen. Because of the way we mass delete all messages from a spammer we don't always spot quotes of their messages.

Anyway, it's gone now

Don't worry about it. There are no links now and it might make this part of the conversation confusing to remove it completely
