Smile Cute new fragrant yellow phal

Friday evening I was the victim of a 'sticky' pot, as Rosie puts it so well! It's a really cute phal, that looks like it's either a primary hybrid or something that hasn't been excessively hybridized. The leaves are large and a bit wavy like some species phals, and the blooms are small, and fragrant!! Smells very sweet. Also has 2 crowns, but I don't know if it's 2 plants, or just a basal keiki. I had to rearrange the windowsill after taking the picture, because with such large leaves it's hard to fit it there!

Ah Howard, that's my hubby who calls them 'Sticky Pots'.

He has noticed that once I pick up an orchid in a shop I'm unable to put it down again. He says they must have sticky pots which cause them to stick in my hand once they have been picked up

He also says he is impressed how they magically unstick when I get home

I mentioned this the other day and that's what Camille is refering to.

Just has a sweet floral scent. It's not that strong since I have to put my nose a few cm from the flower to be able to smell anything!
