Default updates

thought i'll make an update 1 month after applying keiki paste - there are some growths on the spike, but im not sure whether it'll be a keiki or a branch spike. I've attached a pic, i wonder if anyone can tell me? Each spike has 2 of these, so there're 4 in total!

The tips of each spike, which were previously dormant, have continued to grow after applying the paste, and i think *fingers crossed* that they're beginning to bud again. Im not sure - too small to see, let alone take a pic. Will wait a few more weeks!

I've also uploaded another pic of my rapidly growing leaf, which is strangely in a tinge of red. why is that so?

Youre Phal looks healthy and happy, and the new leaf seems to grow just the way its supposed to
The redish color on the new leaf is pretty common, and ive seen this on several of mine as well.

Its often a hint on what color the flowers are, but this is not the case here. Sometimes the leafs will have a vaint redish color underneath if the color of the flowers are brigth redish/purple as well.

As for the growth on the spike, its a bit early to tell what it is for sure... I think you will have to wait another wekk or so, to be sure.

Default updates - keiki or spike?

Well, i can confirm I've got 1 triplet keiki (3 keikis from one node? see pic 2), and one spike (pic 1). There are 2 nodes which im not sure about. Can anyone identify what's the structure at the bottom of pic1?

Also i think one of the nodes is still not differentiating - im getting keen to cut it off, because it does look like a giant random lump now. See pic 3. Suggestions?
