Ancestry of phal NIOD? Female
Default Ancestry of phal NOID?

Hi,
I'm well aware of the fact that we may never know how a NOID came to be but i sure like to guess
Which species do you happen to detect in this one?

It's very interesting that the older blooms have a completely different shape than the newly opened ones. Based on the newer ones i'd definately say floresensis and because of the pattern maybe a lueddemanniana. The long leaves also seem to indicate something like a lueddemanniana or hieroglyphica. But based on the more streched out older flowers and the "cupped" part of the lip there must be something "classic" like an aphrodite or something similar in the mix somewhere.
What's your opinion? a.k.a. <What do your elf-eyes see?>
