Default Short spike produced a flower

Hi orchid lovers,

One of my orchids grew a spike with two flower buds, one died prematurely but the only grew and opened in a matter of days due to the warm weather here in norcal. The result being a short stem and small flower, I thought it was pretty funny and thought that I should share. The things orchids do!

Just to not offend it ----- we call it 'short statured'.

But come to think of it ------ that could be offensive too hehehe.

On a tv series currently being shown in Australia at the moment ----- called I'm a Celebrity, Get me Outta Here --- they taught us ---- to just not comment on body types hehe
