recounted my flowers today, 8 on one spike and 13 on the other!!
Today's light really highlighted the faint pink tinge that's normally only visible on the backs.

Really interested to know if your named Phal has pure white flowers or also shows a tinge of colour?
I want to get myself a 'pure' one

FR, is that your noid blooming? Incredible! Like an award winner. My favorite white cattleya I owned for 30+ years is a noid, I posted on it weeks ago.

Yes, this phal is a pristine snow white. Looks more beautiful each day. Has that little yellow glow in center area. Another photo below. Perhaps Haussermans has better quality photos on their website.

Thanks PP, the class shows! Can really see the difference in flower colour. My NOID doesn't even look 'white' anymore

OK, I'm officially on the lookout for one like yours. Don't get named ones here and no one ships to us here so I'll investigate buying in UK and bringing back with me when I visit in autumn. I've no idea of the regs for UK to Spain so I'll ask Sade, hopefully she'll know.

Thanks for answering all my Qs.

You are welcome FR. Best wishes on your hunt for finding one. I just noticed you are in the Canary Islands. What an exotic location. I love the Canary Island Date Palm and would enjoy visiting the islands someday. The forests look amazing. Hopefully the volcano has not caused too much damage.
