For a while now I've been itching to get my hands on some summer bloomers, so I finally went out to get some. I'm so glad that I did! They smell so good... I made a video to show them to you guys! Two of them are noIDs and I'm pretty sure that they're hybrids, and one is the species bellina.

Thumbs up

Your trinity of plants are quite beautiful-glad you found what you love. I'd be in SO much trouble if I lived that close to an orchidarium selling plants. Can't wait to see your next purchases.

Thank you! I'm very pleased with them. I would be in trouble too, if it wasn't expensive to go there by train and if it wasn't more than a half hour walk from the station. Can't bring too many plants back on foot, that way. That's why I made full use of my friend's car and persuaded her that "she had to see this place!"

Great looking plants!!!! I'm jealous you got to go to Prangins, I've heard so much about it. I was in Nyon for work 2 years ago, and if my work obligations had finished earlier than they did each day, I would have been at the orchidarium faster than you can say "please take my money"! Unfortunately even if I hopped on a bus immediately (or walked the few km) I would not have been there before closing time, let alone have time to properly drool over everything. I still have immense regrets!!

That's such a shame! Honestly I'm surprised someone here actually knows it, since it doesn't sell outside of its greenhouse. But it's a pretty amazing place! Let's hope that you'll be back with the chance to visit one day

I'm French and lived in Lyon for a number of years before settling in the Netherlands for university, 10 years ago. Prangins was quite well known in the Lyon orchid community since it happened to (sadly) be one of the closest large nurseries.
