I haven't been able to find much on these lights, they seem OK, just wanting to check outside of the seller review first. Anybody know anything about these?

They have quality plants but, they seem expensive in all areas. I like Sunblasters LED strip, available from several retailers including Amazon.

Thanks, I've been looking around, and Amazon seems to have all neon purple lights, which is the last thing I'm going for. I'll have to check out sunblaster lights. The white lights Amazon did have didn't seem to have good reviews. I've heard orchid web is a reputable store, albeit a very expensive one, just wondering about the panels because they seemed good.

Even Ray recommends (among others) Sunblaster strips. I actually got mine from Harris Seeds.

I took Dolly's advice and bought the Sun Blaster LED strip from Amazon:

Amazon.com : Sunblaster LED Grow Light Fixture 6400K - 2 ft : Garden & Outdoor

If you want panels, Amazon offers these too:

Amazon.com : Root Farm LED Grow Light 45W : Garden & Outdoor

If you buy the Sunblaster from Amazon, you might need to buy hangers, depending on how you wish to hang them. Hardware is included for attaching hangers or attaching it to a shelf.

I just heard that one can buy LED lights that can be used in old fluorescent ballasts. It seems to be true from my reading. Anyone try these? I would like to replace the old fluorescent lamps with LED.

I think I saw that on the Hydrofarm website. That's such a good idea!

The hangers that came with my Sunblasters would either hang from or screw onto my shelves.

Thanks all, this forum has been rather helpful for a. semi-newbie like me. I'll go with the sun blaster then, and thanks again!
