Here are a few pics of my LED setup. These pictures were taken a month or two ago because every single plant under these lights is now in Spike and some r a day or two away from blooming.

I echo Ray. Prehistoric people bloomed orchids with plain fluorescent tubes way back in the 1960s and 70s.

The Duke of Devonshire in the mid 1800s, after spending more than the modern equivalent of a million dollars on greenhouse glass, and building a railroad spur to bring coal to his greenhouse furnace, decided electric lighting to flower just one plant in the winter would be too expensive. We are quite lucky.
