Default Plasma vs Magnetic induction

So, Ive been growing under plasma lights but I switched over to magnetic induction for a wider area spread.

The plasma had great growing results, and the magnetic induction so far so good. .

plasma 5000k

Magnetic induction 3400K

LEDs. and HO t5 or t8 worked pretty good but not as well..

Thoughts and ideas about these lights" ?

I guess it does not matter how the light is generated, but the actual light spectrum of each type.

Do you have yours?

Yeah I got the light spectrum, Thanks for that image!!

Also I'm mainly wondering if plama vs MI life span and success?

I'm not entirely sure how they do over a long period of time.

Both of these lights were pricey. Plasma was at least 900 MI was 600 from what I remember.

With LED you did not guess it. With $600 you can buy an LED light that far surpasses induction light.

You are probably right, next time I will convince the company I work for to go for the LED. The other employee really wanted us to go with MI. I liked the plasma.

Five years ago I used induction light produced by iGROW. It was far better than T5 and LED (at that time). LED technology has evolved a lot and after I built an LED light I quit the MI because it is not cost-effective consumes much and produces a lot of heat.
I do not know the plasma (I have not used it, it's too expensive), but LED light you can do with what spectrum you want using at base COB: Cree, Citizen, Bridgelux, etc. adding 430, 660, 730nm.
The problem for me is that different orchid species grow in the same space and I have to have an extended spectrum. If you grow the same type of plant, you can use COB directly and a 660nm addition. Or direct COB but CRI> 90

PS: You can grow plants directly with COB but I'm a bit more meticulous about the quality of the plants.

------------

I personally build my lights according to my specific circumstances. From my own experience, I use large heat dissipaters attaching COB with A + B Arctic Silver does not drill the radiator. I can do what LED configuration I want (That does not mean it has to be a rule, everybody does what he wants).
If you use small size radiators and hope the fans are ideal, you will get lower efficiency, while the radiators and fans are filled with dust and the temperature increases implicitly decreases the efficiency and life of the LED.
