Default My Orchid Greenhouse

Here is what I have built for some of my orchids. It is a enclosed rack with a fan on each level, with humidification trays on each level using LED bar lights that allow you to choose any color, blue for root growth is how I have it set. I know many disagree with LED grow lights but I will say they work great and do help produce faster root growth. On top of less heat and lower costs over traditional lighting. I even use it for some of my sick African Violets from time to time. The unit I keep at about 68* and 85-90% humidity.

Is there any red to go with that blue?

What wattage are the bulbs? It looks as though anything below that top shelf are getting almost no light.

Well the way the unit works, there is 1 control and you can add an expansion block to add more lights. With 1 controller you can only pick 1 color for all of the lights and since I want root growth you need blue. If you bought another main kit with a controller I could probably do blue in the front and red in the back but did not want the mix for these plants.
Each light bar are 5w. And for the other shelves, each shelf has 2x15" bars (front & back) & the top has 4x9" bars because of the way the architecture of the greenhouse is. So all of the shelves are getting the same amount of light, and the same air flow as there are fans on every level. I have also used UV light meters to validate the frequency of the color blue is pretty close to the natural levels.
