Default phals, T5 fluorescent setup and professional growers

After reviewing this forum, it seems there is a consensus that T5 6500K fluorescent set up giving around 800-1200 fc is ideal for phalaenopsis growing. Before investing in such a system I would like a feedback of home growers using that system with phals to know if flower count, flower size and fragrance match the initial blooming when you first bought that phal in bloom from a professional grower. Please don't be shy and give your input

T5s are probably a bit excessive for phalaenopsis, in my opinion, unless you're going with 28W tubes (conventionally 54W are used for growing plants).

I have a couple of 4-bulb 4ft T5 bulbs. I'm not sure if my results are different from others, but a couple of my phals have a reddish tint to the leaves, and some don't. I haven't had the lights long enough for flowering yet so I am no help there. But my phals are definitely growing like weeds and are very happy looking!
