Vanda Bloom
Default Vanda Bloom

I stuck some half dead vandas in my mounted orchid area about six months ago and they are both blooming. I think one is a v Yellow Butterfly and the other is v Joanne Jones

Also blooming, podangis (no credit to me), schoenorchis fragrans, encyclia chacoensis,

Good job! The growing area looks great, too.

I use Relassy "300w" light panels that I buy off of Amazon. I am a big advocate of them, low heat and fit sleekly side by side under a large wire rack shelf.

Really like the yellow vanda. And second picture answered the question about where the Podangis was growing. Nice little setup there!

Thanks! The fact that you’re blooming vandas under them is testament to their efficacy.

Thanks!

I have them in empty terra cotta pots, which basically stay some level of damp 24/7. The roots have totally enveloped the pots in 6 months
