as Ross has pointed out before and now, all compact fluorescent bulbs are not the same regarding light "color" Some stores, around here notably Home Depot have 3 different light colors from warm(yellow) to cool white (blueish) and one in between. The lights are rated as degrees Kelvin (K) the lower numbers are warmer and the higher ones are "colder" The lamp that Ross is recommending has a broad spectrum and is more natural. it is more costly as well. I wonder if a combination of the retail types would have the same effect but I am not that much a scientist.
