When I switched all my orchids to basket pots, I had to pry the roots of nearly all my orchids off of the sides and bottoms of the clay pots. Based on that, I think your idea will work.

sweet.. well, i looked online and it turns out that a lot of people do this... LOL>.. i thought i was special...


haha....

well, i'm making another 4 pots... will see what else i can grow this way... i'm also going to spread some chia seeds on one, and moss...

btw, why did you switch from mounted to pots...?
