And please tell me if I did anything wrong. Got this cattleya as a freebie from C&H during open house and figured hey why not give it a try. Also how often do you all water your mounted catts? My first try at mounting-imageuploadedbytapatalk1378468897-126345-jpg

Looks good to me. Just watch how quickly the moss dries, it's difficult to make out how much you have used in the pics. Sometimes you hardly need any (or even none) it all depends how quickly it dries in your environment. I've had to remove some after a couple of weeks on my first mount attempts because it wasn't drying and was going to end up rotting the roots.

Personally I like mounts to dry in a day and be ready for watering again the next day. That indicates that your roots are getting air and plenty of water.

I didn't put a whole lot of moss. I will keep and eye on it.

It looks good to me. I agree with Rosie about the moss. If you use moss at all on a mounted orchid, it should be between the roots and the mount, not over the top of the roots. Moss on top of the roots can hold too much water and cause root rot.
