Default Set up on mounts

I decided to mount more of my orchids since my mini noid phal was doing so well mounted with moss , it has since put out two new leaves. I added another yellow phal that loss all its roots to the same small wood. I mounted two phals ones with purple flowers that had lost most if its roots but has beautiful blooms and another one that had a great root system but my son snapped the stem off with the yellow blooms. The other ones are my beautiful rosey sunset oncid. They are nice and plump now and I split then into 3 sections each .

Did I do a good job ? Or should I change anything.

Thanks , Ashley

Maybe try shutting the blinds and turn on a bright interior light to see a little better. Back lighting can really darken your subject. Can't wait to see your handiwork!

I think it looks good. Just keep them moist enough.

That's probably fine but most people use thin strips of pantyhose rather than a large piece like that. At least I'm assuming it's pantyhose. I like to use green velcro tape which can be labeled as velcro ties also. You can find it in the Home Depot garden center in the section with the trellises. I've had good luck with my mounted orchids, especially cattleyas and oncidiums. Phals also grow well mounted but they can't be left without water fdor more than a couple days.
