I have been thinking of doing this for smaller plants like tolumnias. haven't tried yet, still looking for a nice looking piece of tree branch.

By the way, I keep wondering though, what would you do in a few years when all those plants get their roots all grown into each others' ???
I dont quite understand the question , why would I need to do anything because the roots grow together they are already.

When they all get much bigger and need more space. Would you just somehow tie the mount onto a larger piece or take them all off and attach them onto a larger piece?

lol well I guess I will treat them just like nature would they will grow on the mount until they find their own way off of it .... on a branch in the wild they dont get any help and if they grow long enough that they are hanging loose in the air I might cut a piece off and let the base regrow but untill then they are on their own.

That looks amazing and they are all really happy plants. Congrats on the successful setup. You need to post pics when these guys start blooming.

It'll be really nice to see that.

Wow, that's pretty cool. Do these all flower at the same time of year or is the show spread out through the seasons? Either way, I'm curious to see them in bloom!
