The best wood to use for mounting is cypress,OLD cedar driftwood, cholla and cork.I have seen manzanita used.It is hard wood.Does not absorb water. The walkerianas & BC hybrids love it.Fresh cut cedar wood isnot a good choice. It has various oils which will inhibit root growth.Cypress seems to be the all around best.Easy to fing.Long lasting.Plants root right away to it.Cholla is a cactus skeleton. It holds water and looks nice. The only problem is that it rots out in a couple years.
20lb Fishing line can be used.It is cheap. You dont have to buy the top brand, just a walmart brand is fine.It runs about $2 a roll for the cheap stuff. Now if you were going to fish with it to,Triple fish.

The redlands show is by far the best show in Florida.I f you can take the heat and the gnats.Everyone comes down for that show.It is awesome.Vendors from all over the world. And some of the best jerk pork in Miami.
