More moss for Mounted Catts?

Hi everyone I have 5 mounted Catts that have been mounted about 1.5 years. Most of the original moss has disappeared my question is should I add more moss on top of the roots or not?

I have this same thing happening. I'm not going to add any moss to mine. I think originally the moss helped the plant and protected it until it got situated and started to attach itself to the mount.
I think (only my opinion) that they truly like hanging out in the breeze like o'natural. As long as they have a good flow of air, good humidity, and are fertilized, I'm leaving mine alone. I think it looks soooo cool.

Mine do look a bit pale and they dry out so fast. I drench them every other day or so and they are sending up new growth. I can't wait for them to bloom.

I will leave then alone and continue with my present watering.

Just be sure to fertilize more often than those in a pot.

As Kiki said, the Cats can do just fine with dry roots. They have plenty of water storage in the pseudobulbs to get them between waterings. I wouldn't add more moss as there is a danger in rotting the newest roots (they are used to being dry.)
