Really nice work on the mount.

Be prepared though - my vanilla plant started out as a piece about a third of a meter long and now, 7-8 months later, it's about a meter and a half long!!

Mine is like 10-11' long....it produced what looks like a bud, at about the 8' mark. But it hasn't opened yet, it's been on there for a few months now. I'm guessing that it produces these buds every so often....and then I guess they'll alll open up when it reaches the right season. My vanilla-2009_01170001-small-.jpg.JPG

I've been trying to find a vanilla orchid for a reasonable price around here, but no luck. Anyone know if you can take cuttings from a vanilla orchid? I have a friend who has one... :P
