Default clay mounts

Has any one mounted on clay like you use for pottery after you dried and bake it and would it work and not hurt the plants.

Yes I do.
You cam make a lot of shapes and things, for safety try to take out calcium with acid after you burnt the clay.

what do you mean by acid . I know you have to bake it but what else bo you have to do to that after that .

Put the ceramicīs in a bucket, buy the strongest acid you can get, normally here in sweden we have spiritvinegar or hydrokloric acid and mix with water, let the ceramic stay for a day or two to get rid of some calcium.
Most of your orkids want to grow in 6,5 PH or around.
Otherwise if it is to basic or acidic the nutritions dont work wery well.
Omex.co.uk has a acidity alkalinity test where they schow how nutritio works or do not work in different PH.

that seems expensive and or a waste with time.
But if I recommend a week or two and a couple of days in pure water.
