Now I was hoping for something slip cast because that is usually a lot thinner wall and more likely to be evenly porous. and I'm a bit of a geometry snob and really want a full true sphere. The plant I eat to put on it is pretty uniform and short, so I figure in the long run it will take on the shape of the pot pretty well.

I haven't seen one as well done as the one you posted. It looks like it has very thin walls...Hard to know without holding it and pinching the walls  . Etsy.com has slip cast artisans.
