Yep! Never missed it myself. Ruth Buzzi got her fame there as a regular. I always will remember her as the telephone operater "one ringy-dingy, two ringy-dingies, three ringy-dingies...." and trying to get a call through to Mr William FBuckly.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

All I remember, if that is the show, was that I had a crush on Goldie Hawn, one of my first tv star crushes, then the movie star and marianne on Gilligan, then Geanie. I dated a lot of those stars as a kid.

Well Ross, you're age excuses you but the telephone operator was Lilly Tomlin, remember the hair do and the Sara Coventry jewelry? Ruth was the lady with the hair net who was always hitting people with her purse.......especially if they tried to come on to her......
SWAMPER,,,did you know Goldie Hawn was then married to Burt Reynolds and it was JoAnne Whorley who screamed "Is that another chicken joke" every time a bird of any kind was mentioned..
Now if I could remember my name as easily as I can remember all this worthless information

Now back to our originally scheduled program...............
