thanks Susan. It still seems...I don't know maybe overdressed? I thought mounting would be a lot easier than this.

It looks more balanced now and more natural. It just needs to grow in and it will be perfect!

Looks good both way's probably easier to hang the way it was at first. Something about natural mounts that just looks good. Nice piece of wood you started with! Got this little Den. might give this a go soon,you make em' look nice for sure!

I did start out with a good piece of wood, but the making it look nice required a woman's touch. I thought you just tied it on and that's it. Didn't really think about balance  or anything else Thanks.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)
