Siberian Outdoor Tropics in Greenhouse
Part II
First part was " My Siberian Tropics" My Siberian Tropics
My old orchiterrarium has become too small for me and my plants. I want to try new form, new principles of orchids growing. New principles in fact is an old conventional method of watering orchids by immersion into the water pot, but automatically. Water will completely fills the orchid's container and only then it will empty itself completely, and water spill over into another container, by the help of Pythagoras and Newton.
I build Greenhouse in outdoor balcony of our flat. Little glazed balcony with a heated floor. Dimensions of greenhouse is 44cm х 69cm х 239cm. Stages of creation are on the photo:
A temporary residents till summer on photo 4 - seedling of Delphinium, those place is "Siberian Outdoor Tropics in Greenhouse"; 5 photo - Amaryllis.

I will grow orchids in "orchistand". It is slim wardrobe 42cm х 225cm х 12cm with 10 sloping shelfs (photo 014). I glued orchistand from polyvinyl-chloride 10mm, but shelfs from 5mm polyvinyl-chloride. Orchistand include: 2 water containers 10L in bottom side, 8L in top side and 10 compartments for potting orchids. Water will pumped from the bottom container to the top container, then water flow down by gravity to the upper orchid compartment through the 3 slot. Water will flow by siphone to the lower compartments, from the upper. Look on video https://youtu.be/T5aIfJP6G8M (sorry for quality).
Photo 101, 103 it is view of orchistand in Greenhouse. Photo 102 - orchistand in pack, on the inner side of shelfs can see clamps for siphon's tube.
