Took all the orchids outside yesterday. They will stay in the shadehouse until fall and grow like crazy. Happy plants. Got most of my veggies in the garden. It was a great day outdoors yesterday!!!! Who else is moving them out? Who put in a garden this year?

I grow veggies in containers since the herbs and perennials have taken over the garden and, with all the berries, flowers and fruit/nut trees, our small yard doesn't have much space. I've got everything planted except for the peppers which I will be buying.
I have all the plants outside but I always check the weather forecast at this time of year so I can cover things or bring in the most delicate stuff if we have cold/frost.

I am lucky enough that I have 2 acres to play with. Got the big garden and then I put in a back garden last year that has the strawberries, rhubarb, winter onions, asparagus, and garlic. I also have 2 spots open in that garden that we use for zucchini and sprouts, cauliflower, and brocolli. We only have 3 apple trees and 2 plum trees.
