Greenhouse Kits by Sturdi-built Greenhouses

at the fork in the road has led me here ....I really like the way these look #1. It is not your typical framed metal/plastic kit. #2 Is not badly priced at all considering its redwood and w/glazing options for glass or polypro. I'm sold...Ill have to start saving my money up again...I have a need to gain control.

heh oddly if you happen to check his link the man who started the greenhouse company 50 years ago was an orchid grower and building greenhouses was much easier

I have something to do now

yes they are very nice indeed....Im tired of the little bushhouse ..lots of nice little touches. I like the idea I can call the man up and get some personal response to a question get them answered and move forward. You can get what you want in a kit but not a KIT as in thats it. A Custom Kit.

I found the Rock Lily Man too last night

really nice people to talk to....14 x 20 is what Im aiming for. Bigger than I need but the most I can put on the small plot I have for it...I still have to move a large tree. chop chop chop. firewood.

whew I can run the price up pretty quick with some of the glazing options

twin wall poly on the roof with the thermal barrier,
tempered glass on the lower half with the back and front ends also being glass. I wonder how its going to work out keeping the glass clean enough for me

36" doorway is really an added (standard)feature you just don't see on a greenhouse in this size and range and a big +1 fir draggin stuff in and out.

11 ft at the ridge gives me plenty of room to hang stuff. They wont be hangin in my face and getting in my way.

...the accessories(fans heaters humidifier) are available also but I would rather hand pick these items myself to suit my own system..

I start digging out the holes for it tomorrow
..It will take about 6 months to get this one home and done..

see ya then.. I guesss you 2 will be the only ones know whats happened and the squirrel hes gone

it might just be a dream for me too....I can put up to a 120 sq ft building without engineered drawings and structural approval by the dreaded Home Owners Association..This one would need architectural drawings along with approval by the city then those drawings and approvals have to be forwarded to the association for their approval....lots of red tape in other words and after I spend the money their is no guarantee the HOA will like my greenhouse. I just dont know what to do. I really dont....This is getting more complex than my feeble mind is able to comprehend at the moment.

surveys, drawings, architects, H.O.A. city building code enforcement police, engineers,

HOA seems more worried about the color you paint the porch than you enjoying your home. Well least I can say about that is there arent any pastel pink, avocado green or shockin blue houses in the neighborhood.

Squirrel,
I bet the company could help you out with some kind of drawing to give the city and HOA. I looked at these when I was trying to decide on my new greenhouse. In the end I went with a Grandio Ascent 8x12 Greenhouse, because I felt like I could get the best bang for my buck. Since it is a prebuilt structure kit, I would think you shouldn't have to have something that detailed in order to approve it? Although, I do know the rules are completely different depending on where you are.
