Thanks for posting the list. I can just dream. I'm getting faster at taking care of the 60 I have, but can't imagine taking care of that many.
The writer and photographer of the Miniature Orchid Compendium are members of my local orchid society. They're really nice and knowledgeable folks who take the time to answer my beginner questions. The books are gorgeous.

Big big congratulations to her, that is one dedicated orchid grower!
Oh and the Compendium on Miniature Orchids Vol. 1&2 should arrive in my mailbox today or tomorrow, just to make you jealous
The books are really really worth is to be honest, I don't think there's any other book as exhaustive on miniature orchids! And the pictures are just gorgeous!
So go and get yourself bankrupt!

Yeri, since you are in Belgium, and she is in Czech, I can get you her contact, she shares and exchanges orchids, sometimes sell what she has multiple, she travels to European shows too, mostly to Germany, I think, but you can contact her for sure:-) Let me know, and if interested, send me in the PM your email, not sure languages but she can do some English and maybe even better German:-)

GardenTheater, that is interesting info, unfortunately I am not so happy with my book order. I did order both books in January directly from Britain, from what seems to be direct publishers page, Redfern Natural History Books, Photos & Expeditions.
Since I was not getting any shipping confirmation, I did contact them, with email, did not work, than through the message on their website. Stewart answered few days later that they actually sold out on books and they are waiting for more prints from Asia, should have them in February and will ship. It is the end of February, no books, and I did sent probably some 20 emails in last 2 weeks, messages through the page, and even tried to call their number on website multiple times, absolutely no luck, no answer, no reply. I am very worried, and will probably have to claim my money via PayPal. Another member of our Florida orchid group just ordered 12 of these sets for him and other members, and he is in panic mode, because he is in the same situation - no books, and no communication what so ever. Sad, that such an amazing looking book is so hard to get, and it won't probably even happen. I did order from Britain because at that time both US sellers were actually sold out:-(

That sucks TommyMiami! I've been in contact with Stewart (that's where I ordered both books) and he has been nothing but superfriendly, great communication and appreciated the feedback I gave him on the books.
Maybe, just maybe (because that was the case for me) he is on business travel to Asia or the US and has thus limited access to his e-mails.
I was about to cancel my order as well when he came back to me with sincere apologies!
I would give him some more time (even though it's been a while for you), I don't think you should be worried about your money.
Good luck! I've had the books for a couple of months now and wow, just wow! This is going to be my miniature bible!

Many thanks, well, he did answer my first email at the beginning of February, but since then nothing, and their phone number is not working also, it is kinda weird, and I would expect better customer service, I know others waiting as well and having the same issue, I am not sure if this website is one man show, and he is the one doing everything maybe? I am still waiting but I can not wait for another 2 months though:-(

That is a well balanced set of mostly high light orchids that are low maintenance...that is how she does it.
