I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)
ROSS YOU ARE RIGHT. IM HERE IN COCOA BEACH FLORIDA. WE ARE RIGHT ON THE FREEZELINE OF THE STATE. WHAT THIS MEANS IS EVERY WINTER I MIGHT GET A WALLOPING FREEZE THAT KILLS OR BEATS BACK MY GARDEN SEVERELY. SOME WINTERS ARE MILD AND WE GET BY WITH LITTLE OR NO DAMAGE. SOME HAVE MY WHOLE STREET LINED WITH DEAD OR ROTTING FOILAGE. USUALLY WE BOUNCE BACK IN MONTHS OR MANY MONTHS TO A YEAR IF THE FREEZE IS REAL BAD.
