What are your plans for the flooring? Loose pebbles?

either loose pebbles or just ground and plants... will care about it, when I am back and fit again

What are your plans for air movement? 3 fans are installed already. You can see one of them in the photo "greenhouse 45"

What are your plans for irrigation/misting? Plantfog Welcome Page but also, I will take care of it when back and fit... by now, I do not really need it

What are your plans for hanging plants, like vandas? The two benches inthe middle will be separated by a "metallic mesh wall" up to the ceiling to hang mounted plants. Other hanging plants... have none, and do not think I will have many of them... mayba a Vanda and 2 or 3 Dendrobia, not more than that, as I mainly keep Catasetinae and Paphies... but in case, There is the posibility to put hooks wherever I want on the metallic structure of the greenhouse...

I can't believe I missed this thread Ramon, but I guess it wasn't hard to miss since I've been too busy with school related stuff the last couple months and hardly went on OB.

I knew about your GH plans, but I have to say that that it's much bigger and nicer than I imagined! (jealous jealous jealous!!!!!) I could never build one, I know nothing about foundations and getting electricity/water out to it and so on.... Now if the SNCF finally stops their strikes, I'll be on the next TGV up to Mulhouse. Please make sure that there's a cot in there for me!

Sorry to hear about your back, I hope you're feeling better now.

HI Jim, Thanks for asking... the only updates so far is that new plants have joined the "Orchids Clubhouse Riedisheim" and that many plants has shown they really like it by growing (even if out of season) and blooming (some also out of season)...

All planes for updating the ground and moving benches and placing hangers need to wait until next years when my back is fully recovered....

Sounds like some fun stuff to look forward to doing in the spring!

Maybe I missed it (and don't feel like rereading 5 pages of threads), but what sort of setup are you using to heat it during the winter?

Lazy girl!!

but ok, it would have been useless anyway... I think I did not mentioned that anyway :-))) I am using to electric pumps.... Originally I wanted to install a thermodynamic pump, but when comparing prices I received "the great" advice to go electric because eletricity is SOOO CHEAP in France (too many nuclear plants!!) and my partner really insisted again spending too much money in a thermod- pump (pretty expensive toy, I must admit)... but well... now that I started heating, he is teh first compalining I am using too much electricity and should keep it cooler... well, after a big argument, explaining that he was one of those against the TD Pump, I heat as much as I want (I pay the electricity anyway!) and maybe in one or two years I will install a TM pump...
