Congrats!!! It's beautiful and I know you're excited about getting the orchids tucked in for the winter. Post more pictures as you go.

thank you debs! just a little bit of progress so far--one of the benches installed and a moveable set in the center. i'm not sure about the 3-tiered shelving...trying to decide about a regular ceiling fan or oscillating. i would appreciate any advice

You're shelves look nice. I can't give much advice since mine are built onto the walls. No moveables or tiered. I admit the top shelves do shade the lower shelf, somewhat. But I grow seedlings and teenagers on the lower shelves.

Plus, I have four long rods that go long ways high up in the gh. That's where my favorite catts go. Prime space!!

What do you mainly grow? Have you decided how you're going to heat your new baby? It's looking great!!

hey debs! and, thank you very much, carol!
i'm growing mostly vandas, noID phals, paphs and cattleya species--but, today i rescued a psychopsis and absolutely love it. i bought it for my husband....but anyway, growing the catt species and some cattleyas for cut flowers for our florists here. i'm not sure how it'll work out, but i'll try. i'm partial to species plants....you??

i was thinking that to heat the gh, i would use some heater from home depot--at work i used one of those in the gh there and it worked really well. i'm in south louisiana--way south--so i think it'll work good enough. do you have a better idea???
