Default Greenhouse almost done

Greetings everyone,

My greenhouse is almost finished. YEAH!

Janco still has one part backordered, since FEBRUARY!!! That part works the overhead ventillation automatically. The contractor didn't think he had to put in both fans and loover setups they sent him but both are needed because of the size of the enclosure. He was going strictly by the instructions in the book and my greenhouse is a bit larger than what was in the "book" because it was customized.

I'm sorry if this steps on any feet, but I told him it needed to be installed several times and he just kept saying "the book, the book" like a *#%* clock. It just so happens I'm a women and he's man. It also just so happens that I have built a greenhouse from materials I got out of the trash and he never built a greenhouse in his life. But would he listen to me, NOOOO. Now he has to remove 2 windows to put in a fan and a loover

The electricity would be the next thing. When I was having the house built I asked to have a line run, a heavy duty line run, into my attic so I can use it for my greenhouse. You know what the electrician (who knows best) gave me? One 20 amp circiut. Was that another guy thing? (I was very specific) Could he not imagine what I was doing? I wanted at least a 50 Amp circiut so I could set up a mini box in the greenhouse itself. AARRGGHHH!!!

I'll get my x, he will know exactly what I want and turn that whole electric thing around and I'll get my mini box and everything wired on separate circiuts. He's a very good electrician.

Blessings of hope to all!
Randy

Sounds like a real trip. I would have been pretty specific with the electrician and told him (not suggested, but told him) I wanted a seperate 100 amp circuit run from the master box to the greenhouse (or a position where the greenhouse would take-off (for instance, a power pole.) As for the venting, I am sure you understand now that just 'cause a contractor has construction experience doesn't mean he (or she) has greenhouse experience. You can never have enough "juice" for a greenhouse! What if you want to heat with electricity? (Good luck with that one ) Glad it's finally coming together for you. One day you'll forget all this c@#p and get on with growing stuff. Thanks for the update and keep in mind - we love pictures here
