Do Brass fittings react with Fertilizer?

I am doing some plumbing I will be running relatively soft water and fertilizer, I tried to use plastic all the way, but I needed to use some brass fittings also. Will these react or corrode with the fertilizer or water over time?

Yes. But over time. Can't find plastic threaded fittings at Home Depot?

Lowes only had the brass ones, and could only find 1 plastic on ebay. It's a big hassle to go to lowes/home depot, so maybe I'll try home depot this weekend. Thanks!
