My little window greenhouse

I found a novel solution to a problem that I had, and perhaps a lot of you have, so I thought I would I would show you guys.
Here was my problem: I was windowsill growing and it wasnt cutting it. I wanted a greenhouse but even if I sprang for one I was kinda paranoid about maintaining temperatures. One screw up and many years and dollars would fry or freeze. Thinking about it was a little anxiety inducing.
The Solution: Make a small greenhouse which would attach to the house and share climate control with the inside of the house. I made a box that attaches to the outside of a window and then you just prop the window open maybe put a fan. Pretty simple. Kinda like a home made bay window except you dont need to alter your house at all.
The advantages are that the actual structure is fairly small and easy enough to build. It also maintains some seasonal temps because its outside the house. Mine so far has been about min temp 50 and max 110 which my Cattleya dont bat an eye at so far.
The footprint is about 5' x 2.5'. The structure is welded steel with polycarb walls sealed with foam tape. I know not everyone works with steel but it could just as easily be wood.
It has been a hot season and a cold season now so its tried and true so far. The plants really love the high level of light anf they have had a sharp jump in vigor. The space isnt huge but for now its enough for most of my plants. Many are still smallish so there ultimatly wont be room for 20 huge Cattleya but ill cross that bridge when I come to it.
